In fact, Monicelli said just a few months ago that he would like to revise the "We Want the Colonels," a comedy about a '73 coup, organized the contrary (of course) disorganized Ugo Tognazzi.
And I have watched: not bad, but I think L'armata Brancaleone describes and represents the best film of MM and Italy had in mind. Maybe we watch them colonels there again.
